Maybe
it's a voice, maybe it's an opportunity, maybe it's divine discomfort
... something propels you out of your comfort zone and into the unknown.
Then what?

Every
time you turn around, someone is telling you to discover your life
purpose! Do you really need to know what it is? Are you even sure you
have one? Or is it something you already know deep down?

Rev. Michael Gott |
Nearer Than the Air -- The famous poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson says God is "closer than breathing, nearer than hands and feet." We do not seek the divine outside ourselves but the spiritual truth revealed in us and as us. Michael Gott, a long-time singer and songwriter, now an ordained Assistant Minister at Unity of Houston, gave the Sunday Talk and performed his song of the same name.

At Easter we celebrated the Spirit that lives in us. We know it’s there;
we were born with it. We can see the divinity shining through young
children. If only we could recapture that natural sense of oneness,
connection and joy.
