Joy To The World
It is almost Christmas and our guest speaker, Don Seiler, thought that might make a good topic title. You will find a bit of a different twist to the traditional subject, but one very appropriate to Unity students. Don is almost always full of humor and this talk is no different. Don is a Licensed Unity Teacher who mainly hangs out at the Unity of New Braunfels.
This recording also has a fond musical farewell to two treasured church members who are moving from the relatively warm environs of Central Texas to the family home in Winfield, KS. Renee O'Geary does a vocal of "I Will Remember You" in their honor.

Rev. Seigh also presentied an afternoon workshop--"The I of the Storm." This provides the peace worker with insight into the community dynamics of the ministry as well as giving the community an opportunity to interact with the peace worker.

"Reclaiming Your True Nature"
October 12, 2008
Our speaker was Heather Ash Amara
"Everything we experience is based on agreements we have made--with ourselves, with other people, with God, with life. But the most important agreements are the ones we make with ourselves. In these agreements we tell ourselves who we are, how to behave, what is possible, what is impossible."
A well known spiritual integrity coach, Heather spent six years studying and teaching with don Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements. She is the author of The Four Elements of Change and co-author of Spiritual Integrity with her husband, Raven Smith. She is currently working on her new book, Sacred Time Management. Unity of Wimberley was treated to a wonderful talk by Rev. Linda Pendergrass of Austin. Her talk, punctuated with pithy quips, discussed the journey we are on to "Let Go, and Let God". Her down-home Texas-style delivery fit perfectly with the Hill Country Charm of our little country church.

"See It Right - New Perspectives"
Some people's goal in life is to fix things when they find things wrong, to "set them right". Often, this is not the right thing to do and it is better to "See It Right", according to Rev. Larry Wynn, Unity Minister, who offers his expertise throught "Transforming Possibiliites, Inc." This humorous discussion helps focus on what is really important and more effective in getting through difficult times.
